00:06 The alleys are packed and an eager crowd of sports fans
00:09 are gathered to await the arrival of the finalists, Tom and Jerry.
00:13 And here they are!

00:23 Throughout the tournament, Tom has been supremely confident
00:26 and tonight is no exception.
00:28 On the other hand, Jerry has been the undermouse
00:31 but has hung on doggedly to reach the finals.
00:33 [music]
00:41 This championship bowl off is ready to start and Jerry will lead off.
00:47 [music]
00:58 Jerry puts the pressure on Tom by leading off with a strike.
01:01 And now Tom is a picture of concentration as he prepares to bowl.

01:15 Oh, oh, oh, wow, oh, gosh.
01:19 A tough break for Tom.
01:22 It's almost impossible to make the 7'10" swim.
01:26 Tom has changed balls for this difficult shot.

01:35 What a spectacular shot!
01:37 Tom picked up his spare and saved himself from an open frame.
01:40 Now Jerry gets prepared to roll.
01:44 He's looking for his bowling ball.
01:46 Well, what a good sport Tom is.
01:50 He brought Jerry his bowling ball.

01:58 Jerry gets set and makes his delivery.

02:08 Wow, Jerry's hot tonight!
02:10 He gets another strike and keeps the pressure on Tom.

02:21 And Tom comes right back with a solid strike.

03:02 Jerry is waiting for the pin setter to place the pins.

03:15 And it's another big strike for Jerry.
03:19 The pressure is on Tom again and he really needs a strike to stay in the game.
03:23 Oh, what a tough break.
03:27 It looks like Tom has rolled a gutter ball.

03:32 Wow, what a strike!
03:34 [music]
03:36 Always the good sport, Tom is wiping the alley for Jerry.

03:43 Why, Tom is even wiping Jerry's bowling ball for him.

03:48 Now Tom hands Jerry the ball.
03:51 And Jerry throws!

04:05 Oh, tough break for Jerry, missing his strike.
04:09 And now he must get all ten pins to make a spare.

04:17 Wow, what a solid hit!
04:19 And Jerry picks up his spare.

04:37 Tom has his bowling ball and now he approaches the lane confidently.

04:47 Wow, this is a real trick shot!

05:27 This is the last ball for Jerry.
05:30 If he rolls a strike, he wins the ball off.

05:45 Jerry wins the ball off!
