Over RM33mil of cocaine and syabu seized in Kajang drug bust

Over RM33.73mil worth of cocaine and syabu have been seized after police crippled a drug smuggling ring in Kajang, Selangor.   Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) head Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din on Friday (Oct 27) said following a tip-off, its team conducted a series of raids jointly with the Customs Department and arrested seven men, including a Sri Lankan national. 00:00 The police and Customs have released a syndicate of drug traffickers, drug smugglers and drug smugglers.

00:11 The value of the Malaysian Ringgit is RM33, which is about RM73 million.

00:18 For information, on 25 October 2013, between 12.30pm and 12.15pm, the Police and Customs Department of Kuching Amman

00:34 and the Customs Department of Malaysia have launched three syndicates in Selangor and Pualu Lumpur.

00:43 In this syndicate, the Malaysian Police have successfully arrested six local Indian men and one Sri Lankan man

00:56 who is aged between 21 and 53 years old and is believed to be involved in drug trafficking activities in the area of Lembah Kelang.

01:10 In the operation we carried out, we have successfully seized 4,111.172 kg of shabu blood and 128.03 kg of cocaine blood,

01:31 which is estimated to be worth RM33, which is about RM73 million.

01:38 The amount of blood that was used by the traffickers is about 2.6 million people.

01:47 The operating mode used in this syndicate is to inject the blood from Pakistan through the sea.

01:59 Then the blood is sent to the local market, especially in Lembah Kelang.

02:05 We believe that this syndicate has been active since early 2023.

02:12 The case was investigated under Section 39B of the Criminal Code of 1952 and the suspects were detained for 7 days

02:24 from 26 October to 1 November 2023 for investigation.

02:31 The first charge against all suspects was negative drug charges.

02:37 We have also made a record of 5 suspects who have been charged with drug charges.

02:48 Among them, the crimes are Section 506, the crime of negligence, Section 18, the crime of negligence, Section 427,

02:58 the crimes of illegal activities, Section 39B of the Criminal Code of 1952 and Section 39A of the Criminal Code of 1952.

03:12 We have also taken action under the Criminal Code of 1988,

03:21 where we have managed to acquire various assets of the syndicate worth RM384,994.

03:33 Among the assets we have acquired are 6 vehicles, 2x2 MIV, 1x2 Beza, 1x7 Proton, 1x4 Toyota Alphard and 1x5 BMW 532i.

03:49 6 items of jewelry and cash worth RM236.

03:55 The total amount of blood and other injuries is RM34,116,240.

04:05 This operation has managed to reduce the amount of blood for the local market.

04:11 This office along with other agencies will continue to investigate to determine the cause of the syndicate's injury

04:19 and to bring it to the Court of Appeal.
