Reliving the final moments of the 1990 NBA finals

What's the first thing that comes to mind when is say the words "The Microwave"? Popcorn? Hot Pockets? Vinnie Johnson?

You might remember the late-80s early-90s Pistons as the head-crunching Bad Boys who were rough with Larry Bird and Michael Jordan, and took home two championships. But what get lost in that rendition is the decade the Pistons spent clawing their way from the bottom of the league to the top. And even when they got up top, people put an asterisk on their first championship because they beat the Lakers while Magic was hurt.

Their second championship was no guarantee, and they wouldn't have earned it, nor the respect of the league, without a bench player nicknamed The Microwave. It's rewind time.
