00:05 as a woman gave birth in the middle of gridlocked traffic.

00:08 Kaffeea Dennis, Natasha Grierson and Melanie Murtaugh were on their way to get lunch

00:12 when they saw a pair of legs sticking out of a stationary car in the middle of the road.

00:17 Debbie Minzel was going into labour while husband Chris desperately tried to get them to the nearest hospital.

00:23 The Beeston couple said they were left with no choice but to deliver their daughter in the road

00:27 and thankfully the pair were offered assistance by the three women, who Chris described as angels sent by God.

00:34 The group rang an ambulance and were given directions as the scene unfolded.

00:39 Debbie lost a lot of blood but has since recovered and her new daughter is yet to be named.

00:45 Chris has said he's planning on hanging a photo of the women in the family's home.
