00:02 It was another unforgettable experience.

00:06 We were a direct hit during that eruption.

00:09 Sambales and Pampanga were the direct hits.

00:12 I remember that date, it was June 15, 1991.

00:15 I have very vivid memories of that day.

00:17 It was high noon, but it was pitch black.

00:20 Because it was raining.

00:23 Because Pinatubo erupted.

00:25 I will never forget that.

00:27 It was our neighbor's debut.

00:28 We were supposed to go to a party.

00:30 So, we set up the party.

00:34 And that's what happened.

00:35 It's a pity.

00:36 Anyway, it was dark the whole day.

00:39 And up until midnight.

00:42 When we had to climb up a roof.

00:45 Because we had to remove the fallen sand.

00:49 Because we were going to cave in.

01:57 Because it was so desperate and hopeless at that time.
