Some homes in Southern Queensland are lost due to bushfires

It's understood homes have been lost in bushfires burning in southern Queensland. Residents between Tara and Kogan, west of Toowoomba, were told to leave their homes in the early hours of this morning, as the fire began to move towards properties.
