Yoo Young-Seok: Crane Guy performed “The Fool”. I didn’t recognize how talented he was during Rounds 1 and 2. I was such a fool to realize that he has such emotions. In Rounds 1 and 2, I thought he had a heady voice. But when he doesn’t sing so strongly, his voice seeps in the song. His interpretation of the song was very elegant which made the whole performance very clean and shine. I think his performance in this round was the best.
Dindin: Not many idol singers have chances to give a solo performance. It was solely his own performance and I could feel his desperation in the performance. I was glad to see that he could show his abilities we didn’t know before. He’s good. I personally like him.
Kim Sung-joo: I think you’re more commonly known as a songwriter since many of the songs you’ve written made hits.
Hui: Luckily, some of the songs I wrote became popular. My main job is to work as a member of Pentagon but I’m more commonly known as a songwriter.
Kim Sung-joo: I heard that Hui couldn’t wait to be on our show. He’s not afraid of competitions.
Hui: I was nervous too but I practiced singing very hard. I’ve made a lot of effort. I wanted to see how good of a singer I am and it was very fun for me. I really enjoyed my stage here.
Panelist: He has a voice which sounds relaxing and classy. I hope you will release many songs so that people can enjoy hearing your voice.
Hui: I really wanted to sing “DNA”. It’s such an exciting song. I really like it. I came to this show wishing I’d get a chance to sing “DNA” rather than showing people my singing techniques. I liked how they said my voice was like Cheongyang chili peppers. I work as a member of a group and I only get to sing certain parts. I have to show people my color while singing those parts so I didn’t know what or how I should sing. When they said my voice was like Cheongyang chili peppers, I felt that all of the efforts I’ve made to work on the tone of my voice was worth something. I hope you will keep watching me and Pentagon through various future endeavors.
