Fifteen investors have filed a civil suit against businessman Datuk Allan Goh Hwan Hua and four companies over their alleged failure to pay monthly redemption value sums from the investors' outlay of about RM8mil. But Goh and the companies are striking out the application in court.

00:19 However, the 57-year-old and the four companies have filed an application to strike out the suit on the basis
00:27 that the legal action was a nullity and abuse of the court process.
00:32 The Kuala Lumpur High Court will hear the striking out application on October 31.
00:37 In their statement of claim dated July 21 last year, the 15 plaintiffs claimed that the companies had failed to make their monthly payments
00:47 from November 2021 to June 2022 despite having sent letters of demand through their solicitors.
00:55 The plaintiffs alleged that Goh as the co-founder and majority shareholder of My Airline Sdn Bhd
01:02 and the companies had breached fiduciary duties and should be made liable over losses suffered by the investors.
01:09 Goh, his wife and his son, were remanded by the police on Wednesday to help with investigation
01:16 following the announcement by My Airline that it has ceased operations.
01:21 Federal police said the three had been under observation for the past two years.
01:25 They said they are investigating activities involving the airline and Goh's other companies.
