00:00 I'm afraid the update continues to be that my mother-in-law and father-in-law remain trapped in Gaza.
00:04 Every night of bombing that takes place, frankly, is torture for them and it's a nightmare for us
00:12 because we know the bombing intensifies during the night.
00:16 I know the Prime Minister is there and he will of course, quite rightly, unequivocally condemn the actions of Hamas, as do we.
00:25 I do hope he calls for an immediate ceasefire. I hope he'll also raise the plight of UK citizens,
00:32 not just my parents-in-law, there's many UK citizens we know that are potentially in Gaza,
00:37 and raises not just a ceasefire but the opening of a humanitarian corridor.
00:42 We need the Rafa border open, of course for aid to come in, which looks like a limited amount of aid might come in,
00:47 but also for people to be able to leave.
00:49 And I would expect the Prime Minister to make that case forcefully, given the fact that UK citizens have been caught up in this dreadful situation.
