The Cameroonian film industry is currently grieving the loss of a well-known actor named Franklin Meumeu.On the morning of October 17, 2023, the young actor in his thirties experienced a breakdown in his toilet. Franklin is believed to have passed away due to a heart attack. The untimely passing of this actor has caused great sorrow and anguish within the Cameroonian film community.“After your brilliant exhibition in “Smiling Mask”, I was looking forward to seeing you again at “Scars”. Rest well, talented bro; heaven just robbed us,” René Ettat lamented.Franklin Meumeu acted in a good number of Cameroonian movies, among which were “Le Guerrier du Roi Fo’o Notchegwom”, Catherine (2023), Le Karma de la Tchiza (2020) and Batomen (2022).According to other local sources, the actor was reported to be strong and healthy just one day before his passing.
