MyAirline blamed the suspension of its operations on the lack of a contingency plan, compounded by a last-minute investor withdrawal. It says its abrupt move was taken out of a genuine concern for the safety of its passengers and employees

00:12 This happened due to a lack of contingency plan as we were let down by an 11-hour pull-out

00:23 We also acknowledge our shortcomings with both MAFCOM and the Civil Aviation Authority

00:30 of Malaysia, CAAM, in our failure to initiate contact with the authorities and passengers

00:39 much earlier before we made our decision to temporarily suspend the operations.

00:49 The reason for the abrupt actions was due to the safety concerns we had for our passengers

00:56 and employees on the flight from Wednesday night to early hours on Thursday morning at

01:04 4.50.

01:05 At 4.50 Thursday morning, the last flight arrived safely at Terminal 2 KLIA and we issued

01:12 the suspension notice.

01:15 Although we have cancelled the flights in the morning wave, some passengers on later

01:21 flights were already at the airport and it was clearly an oversight on our part.
