Christmas will look a little different for the Queen this year, as Covid concerns have caused her to cancel her traditional trip to Sandringham for a second time. Outside of Covid times here’s how the Royal Family usually spends their Boxing Day.  The Queen usually spends the holidays at her Norfolk estate, Sandringham, surrounded by her family.  But the Queen, in a break from tradition, will spend her Christmas at Windsor Castle.  Her Majesty will enjoy a scaled-down day joined by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, a Clarence House spokesman has said.  Pre-Covid the Queen eagerly arrives at Sandringham a week before December 25, to await the arrival of the rest of her family. ...
