Derry Girls has not dropped any new content since 2019 but the show is back with season three later this year. It comes after a third series of the popular sitcom created and written by Northern Irish writer Lisa McGee was commissioned for 2020 but postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With filming set to begin later this year, actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays Clare Devlin has spoken about returning. Derry Girls has been off screens for more than two years but it won’t be too long until the third series airs on Channel 4 with the girls and the “wee English fella”.  Nicola plays Clare, one of Erin Quinn’s (Saorise-Monica Jackson) best friends, is often the voice of reason within the gang.  Fans know how she is farm more intimidated by authority figures than her friends.  And at the end ...
