Princes Diana used her passion for ballet to 'lose herself' and 'really shine'

Wendy Mitchell taught dance classes at West Heath school in Sussex, which the future Royal attended as a teenager. She claimed that ballet classes provided Diana with "somewhere she could really shine", as well as letting her "lose herself" in something that she loved. Appearing in the CNN docuseries 'Diana', Ms Mitchell said: "Here, in the ballet class was somewhere she could shine. "She adored dancing and anyone who has danced, if you do enjoy dancing, you're just lost in yourself." Diana was certainly good on her feet and has danced with the stars on many separate occasions.
