An elementary school was demolished following the murder and disappearance of several school staff and students. At the start of the series, another school called Kisaragi Academy has been built on the site of this school. One night, a group of students from Kisaragi were telling a story about the ghost of the old school. They try a ritual they found on the internet to ensure their friendship can last forever, while playing they are suddenly shocked by a mysterious earthquake into another dimension where the Heavenly Host Foundation still exists and is haunted by the ghost of someone who was murdered at the school.
