It means channels such as ITV2, E4 and Dave will be available for free to viewers until at least 2034. The Government will help support the costs. ITV2 is home to ratings hit Love Island, while E4 broadcasts the popular Married At First Sight series. Dave boasts Big Zuu's Big Eats and Unforgiveable as well as re-runs of Top Gear and Taskmaster. Other channels include Sky News, Al Jazeera and GB News. Public service broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 also have a space on the Freeview platform. Trending Media minister John Whittingdale said: "We are guaranteeing the future of Freeview TV and a diverse range of much-loved news, entertainment and documentary channels well into the 2030s."
