Early voting electoral staff facing aggression at referendum polling booths

Staff manning polling booths ahead of the Voice to Parliament referendum are facing increased hostility and unacceptable behaviour according to the Electoral Commission. The warnings about a rise in confrontational and at times threatening behaviour have prompted both sides to urge voters to treat staff and volunteers with respect.
