By the sun and its light. There is a saying of your oath and they are such that with them the great benefits of the creation are benefited and by meditating on them every human being can know about the power of Allah and His Oneness.

The 91st Sura in the Quran, Surah Shams, contains 15 Ayat. This Surah teaches us the difference between achievement and failure. It teaches that man's success is determined by his clean soul and virtuous deeds, while his failure is determined by polluting things
The one who has purified his/her soul has succeeded. The one who has polluted his/her soul is truly a loser. The people of Tham?d defied the command of the Prophet openly, and were punished severely.
This Surah, which is in fact a Surah on the purification of the 'carnal soul' and sanctification of the heart from vice and impurities', explains the same themes as in previous Suras, but at the beginning of the Surah eleven great subjects from the world of creation and Divine essence are mentioned and to prove that
This Surah was revealed in the early period when opposition to the Prophet (pbuh) during his residence at Makkah had grown very strong and intense. Success depends on keeping the soul pure and failure depends on corrupting it, people of Thamud were leveled to the ground for that very reason
Recitation Surah Shams leads to an increase in sustenance, courage and popularity amongst the people. Reciting Surah Ash-Shams in the patient's ear is believed to be very beneficial against epilepsy. (i) Surah Ash-Shams is effective in fulfilment of wishes and well-being of life and property
This surah also refers to the story of the tribe of Thamoud and their negative attitude to the warnings of Allah's messenger to them, and their killing of the she-camel; and finally the collapse of Thamoud and their complete annihilation
The word “Islam” means “submission to the will of God.” Followers of Islam are called Muslims. Muslims are monotheistic and worship one, all-knowing God, who in Arabic is known as Allah.
