00:16 During the October 6th episode of Today, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb couldn't resist

00:23 asking Donna about her son Travis and Taylor's rumored romance.

00:27 And Donna does her best to stay tight-lipped about her son's personal life.

00:32 "Was that the first time you met Taylor?"

00:35 "Yeah, it's, you know, it's fairly new, so I don't like to talk about it.

00:42 It's just one of those things where, you know, obviously everybody saw me.

00:45 I was in the boxes with her and yeah, it's just, you know, another thing that's amped

00:53 up my life."

00:54 Donna, who has been spotted sitting next to Taylor in Travis' suite during each of the

00:59 Kansas City Chiefs' last two games, says this about her time with Taylor.

01:06 What was it, I mean, so you got to know her a little bit, got to sit with a couple games.

01:10 How was it?"

01:11 "It was okay."

01:14 And as for if Travis told his mom to remain tight-lipped during her Today show appearance,

01:20 Donna says this.

01:22 "Did Travis say, 'Mom, if you get on the Today show and start spilling the beans, you

01:27 get a little warning?'"

01:29 "It's not so much a warning, it's his personal life.

01:33 And, you know, I'll talk about my life and when the kids were little and I was with them.

01:37 But you know, they're men now.

01:39 And they've got their own lives.

01:40 And there isn't a man alive that's going to talk to their mom about their personal life.

01:45 It's just not going to happen."

01:47 Though the mom of two NFL stars says that the spotlight can be crazy at times, she admits

01:53 that she loves the thrill.

01:55 "What's it like managing the spotlight, not just for you, but helping them manage the

02:01 Because there's a lot that's fun about it and it's a lot that's intense and not everyone

02:04 can understand that."

02:05 "Yeah, it is, it's kind of crazy at times, but I love a thrill.

02:11 I love theme parks.

02:12 I love all that kind of stuff.

02:15 So it's just, it's up my alley.

02:17 I don't feel intimidated by it.

02:21 I just embrace it all.

02:23 So it's kind of fun."

02:24 Donna later returns to the third hour of Today to reveal this info about her time with Taylor.

02:35 Like, was she leaning over asking about the plays that they were running?"

02:38 "I'll never tell.

02:39 You know what I was?

02:41 I was talking about this.

02:42 You know when the commercial people come out in the orange gloves and they're on the field?

02:46 I was mentioning when they go like this, the commercial's over and they can play again."

02:53 As for Travis, who celebrated his 34th birthday on October 5th, Donna says that she's unsure

02:59 how the Chief's tight end celebrated his big day.

03:03 "And I guess yesterday was Travis's birthday.

03:05 Did he have a good birthday?"

03:08 "You know, I'm not sure.

03:09 He's practicing most of the week."

03:11 "Did you get to talk to him?"

03:13 "I didn't.

03:14 I texted him the day before and asked him, you know, I told him, I said, 'Happy birthday.'

03:20 I said, 'I know it's tomorrow, but you're going to get a thousand texts tomorrow.'

03:23 So I texted him the day before and it's true to form.

03:28 He always jokes around and says, 'Love you, Mommy.'

03:30 So it's still at 33."

03:33 Taylor's second and latest appearance cheering on Travis took place on October 1st at Met
