00:50 city of Iowa. You know,

00:52 it's right in the heartland. This is the heart

00:54 of the heartland. And we're gonna see

00:56 Just how good these hot dogs are as we go wall dogging in Iowa.

02:27 And they serve up the Vienna beef hot dogs in Chicago.

02:33 They have a nice steamed hot dog.

02:35 Nice steamed grill. You feel the warmth of the hot dog as you touch it.

02:40 Bun to dog ratio is on point.

02:42 In other words, it goes bun to bun.

02:45 But here comes the most important part. How does it actually taste?

02:58 It tastes good. There's no chawing.

03:01 It's kind of lacking something. I think I'm going to give this a single.

03:13 Alright, let's go to the chili dog.

03:18 Now they throw a lot of chili on this thing.

03:22 They call it Coney.

03:24 It's the influence that came from Coney Island to Detroit.

03:28 Let's see how this tastes.

03:30 Very sloppy. I need some napkins.

03:38 But I'll tell you this.

03:40 That is a fine chili.

03:45 And I think this hot dog needs that chili.

03:50 I'm going to give this a double.

03:52 Now they have a number of specialty dogs, but this one is a very special one.

03:58 It's called a Ripper. I'm going to kick off some of these onions and stuff.

04:02 They have onions and jalapenos. I'm going to just grill the onions and jalapenos.

04:07 I'm just going to kick a little bit of them off just so I can get a little taste of them.

04:12 And it's got the Chicago style poppy seed bun.

04:15 It's a hot dog wrapped and deep fried in bacon.

04:20 This tastes almost like an Italian sausage.

04:31 You know, I usually don't like peppers and onions.

04:35 But those peppers have a kick.

04:38 I'm going to give this a double.

04:48 I kicked off the pickle, by the way. I didn't want the pickle.
