In 1995, two years before her tragic death, Diana was interviewed by journalist Martin Bashir for BBC's Panorama. However, according to Royally Us, the documentary The Princess could be the last time that the interview will be used, in full or in parts, as Prince William previously claimed that the interview "should never be aired again". The peremptory demand from the Duke of Cambridge came after an inquiry condemned the process Bashir followed to secure his interview with the Princess of Wales. Speaking on Royally Us, host Christine Ross said: "This documentary is probably the last, you know, agreement that they had to show a clip from this footage."
