00:12 Simon Sheffield, champions in the top ten for the first time. How do you feel tonight?

00:20 I've been a nervous wreck for the last few days.

00:24 What I would say is that I had an absolute belief that it was possible.

00:28 The lads really dug in. They knew the job that we've got to do.

00:31 Knew it was going to be difficult but they come out and give it everything.

00:34 Couldn't ask for any more. Got the job done in front of our home crowd.

00:38 Something that we couldn't do last year but I'm so pleased that we've managed to do it in front of them this year.

00:41 How difficult is it for you? Because you've been hit by an unprecedented number of injuries at the top end of the team, haven't you?

00:47 I think...

00:50 Injuries.

00:52 Unfortunately injuries are part and parcel of the sport that we do.

00:55 What we've had to do is get the best possible line-up that we could to give us a fighting chance of winning it.

01:03 Kyle, how does it feel tonight? You're champions.

01:05 Yeah, amazing feeling. I feel it in so hard to describe but unbelievable.

01:10 We worked so hard for this and to do it on a last day decided it was quite a night.

01:15 Josh, you're champions and you had a pivotal role in that heat 14-5-1 that was so important.

01:23 Can you tell me a little bit about that race?

01:25 If I can remember it...

01:27 We were in a good position. Heat 13, they struck back.

01:32 It was all tied up going into heat 14 so me and Reggie had a bit of a discussion before the race.

01:37 We know we needed maximum points from that heat.

01:40 I knew it was going to be tough coming from gate 4.

01:42 I didn't get the best start and I found myself where I didn't want to be.

01:45 I worked the bike hard and put myself in a good position and managed to pass Keenan coming onto the last lap.

01:51 That settled the pressure for the boys for the heat 15.

01:55 They went out and done the business.

01:57 Damian, how does it feel tonight? Sheffield are champions.

02:01 Phenomenal. Phenomenal.

02:04 We worked hard all year. Numerous riders, numerous injuries.

02:08 It was a big task but we've done it. I'm actually speechless.

02:14 Last year was disappointing. How does that contrast with this season?

02:21 Last year was very disappointing but that's done with now.

02:24 We're here now and we've just been crowned champions.

02:27 I'm not even thinking about last year.

02:29 Are you looking to next season yet or is that still to be decided?

02:33 I'll worry about next season when I've enjoyed this.
