Princess Margaret, Princess Beatrice and Grace Kelly's engagement rings also yield huge search numbers every year. Kate's 12-carat blue sapphire and diamond ring has been voted the most popular ring, just ahead of Meghan Markle's trilogy ring. The Duchess of Cambridge's ring famously belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. The Duchess of Sussex's ring fetches around 31,200 searches per year - five times more than the average yearly search for other royal rings, excluding Kate's.
