Newly resurfaced reports claim that the Duke of York, 61, used to make royal protection officers act as ball boys while he practised his golf swing on the lawns of Buckingham Palace. A palace insider claimed that members of the protection team, who were meant to be guarding the royal, were instead ordered to stand around 100 yards away and then retrieve the balls for the golfing fan. The claims allege that this took place on the grounds of Buckingham Palace – the largest private garden in London. In 2008, a source told the Mail Online: "Andrew would occasionally come into the gardens carrying his clubs and hit a few balls making his close protection officer collect them for him." Paul Page, ...
