An Endothermic Reaction | ThermoChemistry | 11th Class Chemistry

An endothermic reaction is a chemical reaction accompanied by the absorption of heat from the environment to the system. As an illustration, in the following chemical tube, there is carbon and sulfur. The substance in this tube is a system. These two gases can react to form carbon disulfide.

When the surface of the tube is touched, it will feel cold. This means that a certain amount of heat is absorbed from the environment to the system, causing the surface of the chemical tube to experience a decrease in temperature. This is what is meant by heat absorption in endothermic reactions
