00:29 back everyone this is the way we've got a little Ahsoka episode 8 finale footage to
00:33 break down.
00:34 I know there's a bunch of theories and hanging plot threads they have to pay off a lot of
00:36 questions about that.
00:37 We know that Thrawn is supposed to catch the new republic with their pants around their
00:41 ankles so we'll break it all down.
00:43 For better or for worse a lot of this is all meant to set up the Thrawn movie so do expect
00:47 a lot of hanging plot threads and cliffhangers in the finale.
00:50 This is where the fun begins.

01:10 Just starting with the elephant in the room the Thrawn in the room the footage we can
01:13 now say from the trailer this is all been in the previous trailers is Thrawn on board
01:17 the hyperspace ring and it seems like what they've done with the Ahsoka trailers that
01:20 they did a house the dragon game of thrones kind of thing were in all the house the dragon
01:24 trailers they put footage like the very last shot of the series in the early trailers.
01:29 So this scene of Thrawn the hyperspace ring might not be the exact final shot of the finale,
01:33 but the probably in the finale on a cliffhanger similar to a moment like this where the hyperspace
01:37 ring enters the main galaxy with this chimera star destroyer he looks out over the plant
01:41 like a boss and to make another Lord of the Rings joke is the return of the king.
01:45 Then they slammed the credits and just pick up the next part of the story during the Mandalorian
01:48 season four or the skeleton crew series or even saving a lot of it for the Thrawn movie.
01:54 The next actual Star Wars show is skeleton crew with Jude Law and those kids we got a
01:59 little trailer footage for that back at Star Wars celebration.
02:01 I did a video for us all link it down the description below supposedly he's meant to
02:05 be a former Jedi and for some reason they get stranded on their ship in what might be
02:09 this other Pyrrhidia galaxy.
02:12 We know that is meant to cross over with Ahsoka the Mandalorian season four everything is
02:15 happening this part of the timeline in those characters will appear in the Thrawn movie
02:18 in some way.
02:20 So tying this all together a lot of you been theorizing that the end the Ahsoka finale
02:24 with Thrawn returning to the main galaxy in Ahsoka Sabine everyone else getting stranded
02:28 in the other galaxy on the Pyrrhidia planet just so that it seems like they take a huge
02:33 L the new republic in general taking a lot of L's right now acting so stupid.
02:36 They kind of deserve what they're getting it seems like I think they really want you
02:39 to hate the new republic there only a couple ways for Ahsoka and the others to make it
02:43 back to the main galaxy now that the purgles are gone in most of Thrawn's minefield is
02:47 still active around the planet.
02:48 So even if they were able to have a way to call the purgles back.
02:51 It probably wouldn't come close to the planet.
02:53 So early theories right now were the either Ahsoka finds a way to attach her ship to the
02:57 whole the hyperspace ring without Thrawn sensors detecting it and just hitching a ride back
03:01 to the main galaxy or much simpler.
03:04 They just get stranded in the other galaxy and had to find another way home.
03:07 Now if Jude Law and the people from skeleton crew are going to that other galaxy.
03:11 They might be their ticket home before the Thrawn movie starts lot of people also want
03:15 to see Grogu the Mandalorians also help Ahsoka get back, but Ahsoka getting stranded in the
03:20 other galaxy would be way to explain why she isn't around during the events of the Mandalorian
03:24 season four to show everyone the evidence of Thrawn's plans.
03:27 So that the new republic can prepare like that's the whole idea is that Dave Filoni
03:31 really wants Thrawn to catch the new republic with their pants around their ankles to get
03:35 their asses handed to them at least at first.
03:38 What was first just a dream has become a frightening reality for those who may oppose us.
03:45 Part of the problem though with this whole Thrawn storyline is that we kind of know what
03:47 happens later in the timeline like the new republic still exists later in the timeline.
03:51 So we know the ultimately he doesn't succeed.
03:54 That's one of the only weaknesses of doing stuff earlier in the timeline is like you
03:58 know some of the bigger plot points, but there's still a lot of big questions about how that
04:01 all plays out.
04:02 Like we don't really know what happens with Ahsoka later in the timeline.
04:05 We don't know what really happens with Grogu when he gets a little bit older, but think
04:09 about the timeline this way Thrawn would need a little time after he makes it back to the
04:13 main galaxy to marshal the forces of the shadow council.
04:16 Because you have all these different factions of Imperials all over the galaxy and it's
04:20 gonna take them a while to bring their giant fleet together.
04:23 Our one hope for success relies upon the secrecy of his return.
04:28 And if a giant Imperial fleet just posted up somewhere near the outer rim the new republic
04:33 would know about it as dumb as they seem right now.
04:35 So they just have to have a way to explain why they don't learn about Thrawn returning
04:39 for a little while longer.
04:41 Just be way easier for that to happen if Ahsoka gets stuck in the other galaxy and it's like
04:45 the Mandalorians that learn about Thrawn first before the new republic sees the evidence
04:49 they can just make the Mandalorian sort of like the first line of defense because the
04:53 whole thing at the end of season three was showing that they were reactivating the great
04:56 forge retaking the Mandalore planet making preparations for the larger star wars to come.
05:02 So if anybody learns about Thrawn first it should be the Mandalorian's Grogu, Mando all
05:06 those characters they can just have Mando and Grogu learn about them on one of their
05:10 random bounty missions early in the season like wait a minute there's a giant fleet out
05:13 here this Chimera star destroyer looks a little bit different from the other star destroyers.
05:17 Why is there a star destroyer to begin with Grogu can also start sussing out what's going
05:21 on with the night sisters to in the force like wait a minute I get some weird vibes
05:24 from these night sisters using about the night sisters to is their whole night sister zombie
05:29 army that they plan to resurrect that's the special cargo that Thrawn has been loading
05:32 is going to take them some time to all raise those from the dead.
05:35 They can just do it on the drop of a hat normally in order to raise them from the dead.
05:39 They need that special green magic energy which can only be found on Dathomir in the
05:43 main galaxy.
05:44 There might be couple retcons with that, but I think that's what the Dathomir planet is
05:47 meant to be so important in the main galaxy.
05:50 Why the night sisters originally settled there when they got stuck in the main galaxy.
05:54 The other really big question is what's going on with Baelin's skull in this mystery power
05:58 that he feels calling to him on Peridia because Ray Stevenson died in real life before the
06:03 season came out may he rest in peace really sucks because he's amazing during this season
06:07 is the dayfully probably intended on having a cliffhanger with him where he finds out
06:11 what he's looking for.
06:12 They don't really explain it until Ahsoka season two or like the Thrawn movie.
06:16 Now I don't know if they plan to recast his character before that Thrawn movie or Mando
06:20 season four wherever the character would have originally appeared next or they just write
06:24 him out of season two in the Thrawn movie, but right now it seems like they'll be forced
06:29 to have some kind of cliffhanger for his storyline.
06:32 Then they use the next couple of years before the Thrawn movie comes out to just figure
06:35 out what happens with his character.
06:37 Like in the finale he'll find what he's looking for the just seemingly disappear and they
06:40 don't fully explain what happens till way way later.
06:43 It's kind of like what happened to the Cara Dune character.
06:45 This can had explain what happened to her off screen they made it seem like she died
06:49 off screen and other been a lot of Abel off theories about this power that he seeking,
06:53 but I don't think they're doing Abel off from legends.
06:56 She was a legends version of the mother in the mortis gods family like the father the
07:00 son the daughter the mother was a character they introduced in the legends books after
07:04 the clone wars mortis episodes, so she's not meant to be canon the book that introduced
07:08 the character came out right before Disney bought Star Wars.
07:11 That's why she's a legends character the whole idea is that she was meant to be a human woman
07:15 that serve the mortis gods and they just came to think of her as the mother till one day
07:19 she sought to gain immortality like the mortis gods had so she could live with them forever.
07:23 She drank from this wellspring of the force on mortis and it turned her into this giant
07:26 cosmic entity right now just seems it's more likely that Balin's power he's seeking is
07:31 something totally different like that might have something to do with the Zepho mentioned
07:34 on the night sisters temple wall of done a couple videos about him.
07:37 His name was could jet he was a big part of the Jedi fallen order Jedi survivor game power
07:42 that on to understand how I control the same thing because they included that Easter egg.
07:52 It means that the events of those games are canon to the main Star Wars story.
07:55 So it's more likely the day for is pulling in like some classic canon stuff, but it could
07:59 also be something totally different.
08:01 Like I said, I think the gonna spend the next couple of years figuring out exactly what
08:05 that is the beaches of giant cliffhanger with the storyline shin hot tea seems like she's
08:09 gonna return to the main galaxy with Thrawn which Balin told her to do the supposed to
08:13 be at least one more Anakin Skywalker cameo scene.
08:16 I think it'll be force ghost Anakin giving Ahsoka pep talk, but they might use his cameo
08:20 to set up the Thrawn movie a little bit where he explains to her that even though they take
08:24 a huge L all hope is not lost.
08:27 I could just see Ahsoka now like okay there's this little creature called Grogu could you
08:30 please take your force ghost back to the main galaxy and just warn him what happened and
08:35 tell him to find a way to bring us back the other thing to is the world between worlds
08:39 they featured is so prominently midway through the season.
08:42 They could also use that is one of the keys the way the resolve some of the storyline
08:46 but post all your predictions for the finale in the comments in Ahsoka season 2 because
08:50 they did start working on season 2 before the strike started.
08:53 So seems pretty likely that they will continue doing that now that they've resolved that
08:57 the other big thing is how do you think the skeleton crew series is gonna cross over with
09:00 what's happening right now because we know that is going to cross over in some way just
09:04 be way easier if they come to the other galaxy in Ahsoka the other characters are still there.
09:09 I believe that that show is supposed to premiere early 2024 originally was going to be in December,
09:13 but then they delayed everything this year by a few months will probably get the trailer
09:17 for that after the Loki series comes out.
09:19 Big reminder to Loki season 2 episode one starts next week my episode videos that will
09:24 post every Friday just like normal the Mandalorian season 4 might not make it out by the end
09:29 of 2024.
09:30 They haven't started shooting that yet, but they did finish writing it before the strike
09:33 started so they can start shooting that as soon as the actors part of the strike gets
09:36 resolved which might be the next couple weeks when we start learning more about what's going
09:40 on during Mando season 4 also doing some more bonus videos for that.
