00:00 Let's jump right into talking about being on Last Resort.

00:02 What was that experience like for you guys?

00:04 - It's definitely the last resort.

00:06 (laughing)

00:07 Let's put it that way.

00:08 - Let's put it this way, it was my last, or no,

00:11 it was her last resort.

00:12 My attempt to be funny and try to heal.

00:15 No, in all seriousness,

00:18 TLC really went a different direction with this program.

00:21 This was really about, not drama,

00:24 but about fixing the drama,

00:25 and about counseling, and a variety of counseling.

00:29 - Liz and I were fortunate enough to participate

00:32 in this program called, well they hypnotize you,

00:35 it's called Transgression--

00:37 - Past Life.

00:37 - Past Life Regression, where they take you back

00:40 to who you were in a previous life,

00:42 and Liz got a lot out of it, and I did too.

00:45 - I definitely would say we learned a lot individually,

00:48 and then we learned a lot as a couple,

00:51 and we learned a lot to fix on ourselves,

00:53 'cause if we're not happy with ourselves,

00:56 there's no way we can bring it into our relationship.

00:58 - So we grew a lot from this,

01:00 and I'm very happy and blessed that TLC United Way

01:03 Fiance did all this for us,

01:04 'cause it's normally more like the drama,

01:06 not that there's not drama,

01:08 but now it's like we have them rooting for us.

01:12 - And there's definitely drama,

01:14 and also too, we got to drink a little bit,

01:18 well a lot, I'm kidding, but we got great therapy.

01:22 There was still the drama that you're gonna always find,

01:25 but in a small way,

01:27 Liz and I hope that,

01:28 because everything you see is real,

01:31 it's not scripted,

01:32 and a lot of what Liz and I show on the show,

01:37 people deal with every day,

01:38 you just don't see it.

01:40 They post their pretty pictures,

01:41 their happy pictures on social media,

01:43 but when you get down to the nitty gritty,

01:47 people don't communicate well, which we learned,

01:49 and they have challenges,

01:50 so in a big way,

01:54 we hope that Liz and I,

01:56 through being on TV with TLC,

01:58 can show people a different path,

02:01 and a way to,

02:03 that A, that everybody fights,

02:05 and B, that you can always ask for forgiveness.

02:07 - Well then Ed and I did everything backwards,

02:09 and really fast,

02:10 so what definitely we learned through this,

02:13 the last resort,

02:15 was becoming friends first,

02:18 and learning how to trust and communicate,

02:21 'cause we didn't have that in the beginning.

02:23 What were we doing?

02:25 - We were going out to dinner all the time,

02:28 and just, we were on the honeymoon.

02:30 - We got to restart, yeah.

02:31 We got to restart everything.

02:32 - We wouldn't, when we would argue,

02:34 we would sweep it under the rug,

02:37 and go to dinner,

02:38 and not deal with the issue,

02:41 and when we got to the last resort,

02:43 we really realized,

02:45 kind of day one,

02:46 that we don't communicate.

02:48 I don't listen.

02:49 Liz is really the communicator,

02:50 but I really don't listen,

02:52 so it was more about me,

02:54 really trusting Liz,

02:56 and listening.

02:57 - We're gonna let you guys go,

02:58 but last question.

02:59 I know we're seeing the last resort play out right now,

03:02 but do you have future plans?

03:03 Are we thinking house, family,

03:05 anything down the line already?

03:07 - We have future plans,

03:08 but we're gonna leave it at that.

03:09 - We want six kids.

03:11 I think we talked about,

03:13 you know, right away.

03:14 - Basically, if we want a kid,

03:16 our son or daughter is frozen in the LA bank right now.

03:19 - Yes.

03:20 - So, we'll see.

03:20 - We'll give a shout out to you boy,

03:21 I love you.

03:22 (laughing)

03:23 - No, I froze my sperm in a bank,

03:25 and we did that when we first started the date,

03:27 because I got it a vasectomy,

03:29 but Liz was like,

03:30 "Well, what if I want kids one day?"

03:32 So, we drove up there,

03:33 and she would flash me,

03:35 so I could basically finish.

03:38 And so, my boys are in LA.

03:40 Just a big shout out to my sperm boys.

03:42 - My girls.

03:42 What if it's my girls?

03:43 - My boys and girls in LA,

03:44 I love you.

03:46 - Could that be something that we're gonna see play out?

03:49 - We're on a timeline for that,

03:50 so we'll see.
