Tesla's Q3 Vehicle Deliveries Impacted by Slowing Production and Price Cuts
  • 7 months ago
Analyst expectations for Tesla's third quarter vehicle deliveries have been lowered, with the consensus now being around 462,000 vehicles delivered, down 2% from previous estimates. Some analysts expect the number to come in even lower. Analysts believe inventory reductions due to price cuts, slowing production, and consumer interest turning to the new Model 3 and Cybertruck will negatively impact Q3 deliveries for Tesla. Deliveries of the updated Model 3 in China are expected to start in Q4 when it goes on sale, and the Cybertruck delivery event has been floated to take place before the end of 2023.
