A stork that broke its beak has been released into the wild after being given a new prosthetic mouthpiece.

The endangered white bird was struggling to feed itself and survive in the wild.

Fortunately, the bird was rescued by crews from The Honghe National Nature Reserve in China's Heilongjiang province.

The experts at the nature reserve managed to create a custom beak and fitted it onto its muzzle.

After it was securely fit, the bird was released into the wild and was able to soar again.
