NASA's First Asteroid Samples Streak Toward Earth After Spacecraft Release

A space capsule carrying NASA’s first asteroid samples touched down in the Utah desert Sunday to cap a seven-year journey. The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft released the capsule, which contained an estimated 8.8 ounces of rubble from the carbon-rich asteroid known as Bennu, from 63,000 miles out.
