Bukit Aman's Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department inspected 17,241 commercial vehicles during a special operation that saw 34 arrests made.

Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mat Kasim Karim told reporters at Bukit Aman on Monday (Sept 25) that the five-day special operation from Wednesday to Sunday (Sept 20 to 24) was implemented to reduce the rate of road accidents, especially involving fatal accidents.
