Home Affairs Secretary referred to Public Service Commissioner over text messages

The secretary of the home affairs department, Mike Pezzullo, has been referred to the Australian Public Service Commissioner over text messages sent over a period of years to a Liberal party powerbroker. Many of the messages relate to ministry appointments, including around the time Scott Morrison became prime minister.
