00:00 On Thursday, September 21, Nikki is now formulating a plan that involves putting Adra

00:05 in a potentially hazardous situation. Nate, who will perform the duties of the second-in-command

00:11 in her organization. Her primary duty is to keep a close eye on everything that Nate does

00:17 and to report to Nikki quickly on anything that raises suspicions about his actions.

00:22 Nikki's lack of faith in Nate, which has led her to believe that he may be a threat to Victoria's

00:28 image inside the organization, is the driving force behind Nikki's decision to take this step

00:34 on her own behalf. Nikki is giving serious thought to the possibility of handing over to Adra one of

00:40 Kyle's particular duties. Nikki isn't quite sure that Adra and Abbott aren't still doing anything

00:46 behind her back. But she wants to make sure that they aren't before going on with the rest of her

00:51 life. She isn't quite persuaded that they aren't. At Newman Enterprises, the relationship between

00:58 Victor and Victoria is becoming more tense. Because of her continued opposition to the

01:03 improvements that Victor has recommended, Victor is losing his patience with his daughter.

01:08 He is exerting pressure on her to immediately comply with his new directions without offering

01:14 any resistance. On the other hand, Victoria is unwavering in her resolve, and she will not allow

01:21 her father to demote her from her position in the business. The thought that Victoria could decide

01:26 to quit Newman Enterprises is giving Victor increasing cause for anxiety. This is a situation

01:32 that he would want to steer clear of at all costs. In a one-on-one chat with Nate, Victoria gives him

01:39 her word that she won't stand for being pushed out of the firm. Victoria says that she won't let

01:44 herself be fired. She has devoted her whole life to the company, and she has resolved to remain

01:50 in the same position. Victoria and Nate are now devising a covert strategy behind closed doors
