00:00 Occupation, environment, territory. These are the three main aspects that make Coca-Cola the first reality in the beverage and drink sector.
00:13 To put it simply, it is a research conducted by SDA Bocconi School of Management, which has highlighted the socio-economic impact of Coca-Cola in Italy.
00:22 In 2022, the generated resources distributed to families, companies and the State, in the form of salaries, goods and services, investments, taxes and contributions, amount to 1.2 billion euros, equal to 0.06% of the national GDP.
00:38 With more than 27,000 direct and indirect jobs generated in the country, 60,000 people who benefit from the income generated by Coca-Cola reach the level.
00:48 We are also committed to guarantee an inclusive workplace that values talent and skills.
00:55 Compared to the Italian average, we have more women in leadership positions, both among the executives and among the managers,
01:01 and the difference in salary between managers and the rest of the corporate population in Coca-Cola is lower than the national average.
01:09 So close, so Italian, the title of the Bocconi Report contains the essence of the link that unites Coca-Cola to Italian excellence.
01:17 Of the 1.2 billion value generated in Italy in 2022, 628 million were allocated to local companies and suppliers,
01:26 which in other words means that Coca-Cola has collaborated with over 1,400 suppliers, 80% of which are small, medium or even micro-local businesses, equally distributed between north and south.
01:41 The report also highlights the commitment of the company to sustainability, the priority for Coca-Cola, the circular economy of packaging.
01:49 As Coca-Cola we were the first company to introduce a 100% recycled bottle on the market, and in 2023 we have expanded this important innovation to our entire beverage wallet.
02:04 A progress made possible thanks to the reopening of the CCH Circular Pet factory in Gallianico, which with an investment of over 30 million euros by the Coca-Cola HBC group,
02:16 was transformed from a disused plant to a 100% recycled pet bottle production factory, able to meet the productive demand in Italy of Coca-Cola.
02:27 In addition, in 2023 the company has extended the Tetrad Cup, or caps attached to the bottle, to the main brands in the portfolio,
02:35 anticipating a year as requested by the European Directive on single-use plastic.
02:40 As a company we want and intend to continue to grow and produce value and employment for the Italian territory,
02:47 which is fundamental for Coca-Cola and all other companies in the sector, and to be able to continue to grow and invest in the territory to generate value throughout the entire sector.
