Thai alternative band Tilly Birds teased their fans that their next album would feature all-English songs, and they will release it next year.

00:04 Filipino fans in a concert held at the SM North EDSA Skydome recently.

00:09 Before their non-stop 2-hour concert, Tilly Birds talked to JMAINETWORK.COM about their

00:14 life as an up-and-coming international act.

00:29 Hailing from Bangkok, Thailand, the trio composed of Third, Billy, and Milo recalled special

00:34 memories while they were recording their songs.

00:37 First of all, same page, like the most, the hardest song to achieve, to produce, to like

00:47 four different demos, which kind of like sounds totally different.

00:51 But this came out, but it came out with what I do.

00:56 Guys, remember?

00:57 One moment, we were just, we just finished recording and we were driving out the studio

01:06 and Milo parked his car in front of ours and he came out and he said, "I think at the end

01:16 of the song, there's got to be one different lyric to sum up everything in the song."

01:23 We were like, "We can't go back."

01:27 He said, "Use the demo."

01:30 So he's like, parked the car like across, like, "No, don't go yet.

01:34 All right, guys, here, here's what we're going to do."

01:37 There are so many moments in the same page and the session was very fruitful.

01:42 Like it spawned so many other songs.

01:45 It spawned "Just Being Friendly," it spawned "Sleep to My," so many other songs from that

01:52 session alone.

01:53 That's a productive session then.

01:55 Yep, it was, but it was a pretty tough time as well.

02:02 It took us so many months to really finish the song and like with like four different

02:07 versions of the song and like more than combining like more than like almost 20 demos of like

02:14 little changes of this and that and then combining to make the song sound good.

02:19 According to the group, Billy actually crashed his car during that recording session when

02:24 he has his light bulb moment.

02:26 It was real.

02:26 He even crashed his car.

02:28 Yeah, he crashed his car.

02:29 To get the chorus right.

02:31 Okay.

02:32 But it was not fatal.

02:34 It was like a kiss on the back.

02:35 A kiss.

02:36 Like, "Mwah!"

02:37 Okay.

02:37 Yeah, like that.

02:38 Yeah.

02:39 In 2024, the fans of Cutie Birds will be in for another treat because they will release

02:45 their All English album.

03:14 for the people who dreamed of making it big in the future.

03:18 I would say, you know, I see a lot of young artists with amazing talent and skills nowadays.

03:27 But I've seen many that focus on how to get there, how to succeed, how to be popular,

03:36 how to gain popularity and fame.

03:39 But they are forgetting one thing that really is an essence to being an artist, is what

03:47 story they're telling.

03:52 Many artists come up to me and ask me to write songs, but they don't even have anything for

03:58 me to write.

03:59 So I would say, we have to have that.

04:01 We have to extract that.

04:02 That's the essence of being, of singing, of creating art.

04:07 We have to have the heart and soul.

04:10 Cutie Birds' concert in Manila may be the first, but it would definitely not be the

04:15 last.
