Amazon to Hire 250,000 Employees for Holiday Season Across the US

Amazon is hiring 250,000 employees across the US for the holiday season, with over 28,000 positions available in Texas. The roles offered span their operations network, including competitive pay and benefits. This brings Amazon's total number of jobs created to more than 800,000. The jobs include full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles in customer fulfillment and transportation. Fulfillment center roles involve stowing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping customer orders. On average, customer fulfillment and transportation employees can earn over $20.50 per hour and up to $28 per hour, depending on the location.
