00:38 Yeah, well you'd think so.

00:39 I mean, if I said to you I've done, I think this might be number 20.

00:42 Wow, yeah.

00:43 You might think, yeah, well, that's really good.

00:44 But I think I was talking to Ian Lavender not that long ago,

00:46 and I think he's done number sort of 50 or something.

00:48 So yeah, I've got a little way to go yet.

00:51 But yeah, I've earned my spurs, as they say.

00:55 What it is, look, I own these tenders everything.

00:57 So 10 years later, that's all I'd done as a professional actor.

01:02 So I just wanted to do different things.

01:04 And they could have done me staying until St. Valentine's Day 2004.

01:12 Because that's when I was supposed to find out that Janine was cheating on me.

01:16 But I just, I'd had enough, and I just wanted to do something else.

01:20 So I signed to do a pantomime.

01:22 Not arrogantly, but I was just going to tell them I can't.

01:24 And they said, in the end, they terminated my contract early,

01:28 and I got pushed off a cliff on New Year's Day.

01:30 I do remember that.

01:31 Instead of finding out on St. Valentine's Day.

01:34 Why are we called pirates?

01:36 Well, because we are!

02:12 So yeah, I did my first panto eight years ago.

02:17 Crazy.

02:18 It's good to be back.

02:19 What do you remember of that one?

02:21 Because you were at Dandini, weren't you?

02:23 Yes, I remember it was my first panto.

02:26 I remember it had an amazing experience.

02:28 And I always thought, oh, I'd love to come back here one day

02:32 and have a lead role, which is what I'm doing now.

02:34 So it's great for me.

02:36 I always wanted to come back here and play a lead role.

02:38 And that's what I'm able to do.

02:40 I can't believe I've got myself in a position

02:42 now where I can actually play Peter Pan on fly.

02:45 I mean, it's a personal thing for me.

02:48 Because I've lost a lot of weight over the last couple of years.

02:51 I've got myself in a really happy and healthy.

02:54 And for me to actually get a role like Peter Pan on fly,

02:57 I mean, that's just-- it was almost unthinkable before.
