We ask Leeds: Do you think American Bully XL dogs need to be banned?

Rishi Sunak has promised to ban American Bully XL dogs. We ask the people of Leeds if they agree with the Prime Minister's decision.

00:35 I think the owners.

00:36 I suppose it's a bit of both, yeah.

00:37 I get that it's a very aggressive breed, like stereotypically, but the way that they're

00:42 bred is just not in good conditions and that has an effect on them when they're a puppy

00:46 as well. So they haven't really got a chance. If the owner doesn't know, can't control it.

00:56 It's the owner's responsibility to look after the animal. I know some people who have got

01:00 pit bulls and that. It's just like, my own opinion, it's the owners who raise these dogs

01:04 who can be right as rain, but there are some dogs, dogs who, unfortunately, my dog got

01:10 killed by a pit bull last year. It was somehow, and it was awful. But my own opinion, if you've

01:19 got a dog and you've raised it right, I mean, I know what people have got pit bulls, Dobbins

01:23 are sweet as rain, but sometimes owners are very good owners and they are very good owners

01:31 and I know what people have got dogs, but some of them just raise them right nasty.

01:37 Damn. And every dog that's at risk, whether it be an ex-ex-bully or what, should have

01:42 to wear a Muslim public, don't care what breed it is, think it's got a big mouth or it's

01:49 at risk, wear a thingy. Because my daughter was bit when she was two and she's been back

01:55 now, the dog's ever since. So, yeah, I'm really struggling.

01:59 And the attacks that we've seen recently, do you think that's the fault of the owners or the breed?

02:03 Owners. Owners. It's not the breed, it's the people, horrible people get them dogs.
