A Homage to the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia, Spain - Soccer Valencia CF
  • 7 months ago
I'm not a big soccer fan and I honestly only watch it during the World Cup or the EM but for some reason I do love to go into a stadium. Not really to actually watch the game but to take in the atmosphere and look at the odd architecture you can find in some of them.

My favorite soccer stadium for sure is the Mestalla here in Valencia, where Valencia CF is at home. Smack down in the city, great views over the field and even over the old town if you sit in a zone called, Vomitories. Which is the seating area highest up and so steep that it makes you dizzy to the point you might have to puke, depending how many beers your had pre-game.

Sadly the Mestalla will be a thing of the past and will one day make space for yet another shopping mall, once the construction for the new stadium outside of the city is done. But as for now, these constructions might never end, considering the slow progress in recent years. Which would be great.
