00:00 I think that the initial first phase of the game, I thought we were good,

00:14 I think the bit that we didn't get right at the level was making the most of the good opportunities that we give ourselves to create chances.

00:22 When we got in and around the box, we got into some real positions to make final passes and to create and score assists.

00:29 I felt like we were getting into positions to make a difference, but it wasn't quite making a difference.

01:11 It was a bit of a stop-start with the VAR and some injuries, etc.

01:19 Two teams, I thought, then tried to win the game and they became a threat off set-pieces with Conor Roberts' long throws and some corners.

01:28 Likewise, we were pushing to get chances as well.

01:31 It's just one of them where we want to be winning games here, of course, but it's a Premier League game.

01:39 Every team has players that can make a difference and phases of play that can make a difference.

01:46 You have to accept that at times.

01:51 It's a game where maybe if you don't win, then you don't lose.

01:55 I think that was quite important as the game went on.

01:58 But a change of formation, lots of new players in the team, the squad.

02:04 It's going to take time to get some rhythm in the game, or in our game, and we'll look at the positives.

02:11 You mentioned that moment of brilliance by Callum. How much will that mean to him on his debut?

02:16 I think any new player will want to hit the ground running and show what they can do.

02:20 We felt like we needed wide players and wingers in the game.

02:24 We felt like that's where the space was, and it showed.

02:26 We got Anthony and Callum in really good positions a lot of the time.

02:30 As I'm saying, we could have maybe done a bit more with them as a team in their moments.

02:35 But yes, I know he has quality.

02:37 I know he can have moments of brilliance.

02:40 You need that at times in the Premier League, and I'm glad that we got one tonight.

04:21 So, I think we've got options now,

04:24 not only with competition for places,

04:27 but also tweaks in tactics,

04:30 whether it's playing, like I said, with the four and higher players up the pitch,

04:35 or we were three in the game before, and things like that.

04:37 We've got those options.

04:38 There's principles of play that we will adhere to or intend to get out of every single game.

04:42 But tactics-wise, we can change now.

04:45 We can even change in-game as well, which is what we've done before.

04:48 So, we've got variety now to try and put what we hope is the right plan for every game.
