00:00 We are standing in the place of the Jewish cemetery, which was built in the 18th century.

00:07 This project was initiated to remind the inhabitants of Wrocław the history of this place

00:14 and the historical layers that make up the local history of our city.

00:19 At our foundation we work with the concept of green monuments.

00:23 This is where the idea of natural pigments came from, which is the ephemerality of this work.

00:31 It will be washed out over time, but also in the context of not building new monuments.

00:39 We work on what is already there, on the floor of the Constitution Square on 3 May.

00:44 We mark a fragment of the cemetery's border, and on Gwarna Street,

00:50 we mark a fragment of the historic wall of the cemetery from 1908.

00:54 These two structures are already there.

00:58 What you see here is that we have been marking the square

01:02 to take the attention of the people who are walking over the square,

01:06 because this place used to be part of a Jewish cemetery that continued over the street behind us

01:15 in a time when the main train station was not here yet, until the next street, until Gwarna Street.

01:20 So what we did here is that we marked the space from the two edges of the cemetery.
