NEWS: airasia Digital rebrands to Move Digital

Capital A’s digital arm airasia Digital has ditched the red for the green as it rebrands as Move Digital as it aims to be a travel super-app according to CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

00:00 I think in five years, non-AirAsia will be bigger

00:05 And that will be the goal, to not just be AirAsia,

00:09 but to really grow the non-AirAsia business,

00:13 which, you know, AirAsia will obviously grow,

00:15 and I think we want to go to 300 planes

00:17 and 150 million passengers.

00:20 But I think with the airlines that Ma Yin and now Nadia

00:24 are going to be working with, coupled with the payment

00:27 systems, many other products are going to come

00:29 and work with us, and some are AirAsia's competitors, right?

00:33 That's not a problem.

00:36 And that's what, moving to green,

00:38 we're not just serving AirAsia as an independent company,

00:41 right?

00:41 Hotels, I think, will be a big one.

00:43 More hotels and transactions?

00:45 Yeah, more hotels, I think, ride, hailing,

00:50 and I think all the other-- and food.

00:52 I think food will be a big surprise.
