00:00 All right, everybody, welcome back for week two here at Patriots Press Pass on YouTube.
00:06 He's Taylor Kyles for Cionis Media.
00:08 I am Mike Kadlik from WEI here to run you guys through all of the big games this weekend
00:14 from the betting angle.
00:15 Taylor's going to give you some football knowledge.
00:17 I'm going to try and give you some picks.
00:18 A quick reminder that all of these picks and all the odds are presented and powered by
00:23 Fandle Sportsbook.
00:25 If you go to Fandle.com/Boston right now and bet $5, you'll get $100 off NFL Sunday ticket,
00:31 which means if you bet on all these games and you take our picks, you can then watch
00:35 them all with Sunday ticket.
00:37 It's a great service.
00:38 It's a great deal.
00:39 You got it over at Fandle.com/Boston.
00:41 So make sure you guys go take advantage of it.
00:44 We're going to start with the team, me and Taylor Cover down in Foxborough.
00:48 We're there every single day hanging out, and then we get to do this every Friday.
00:52 It's great.
00:53 It's fun.
00:54 We're here every Friday, and the Pats are welcoming the Dolphins to Foxborough, to Gillette
00:59 Stadium on Sunday night for a primetime matchup, an 8-20 kickoff.
01:03 The Dolphins, the away team, are three-point favorites according to Fandle.
01:07 They're minus 152 on the money line.
01:10 Pats are getting three points as dogs, and the over-under is 46-1/2.
01:16 Taylor, I know you've dove into it ad nauseum.
01:20 I've taken a look as well.
01:22 I'll kind of explain and give you my thoughts with the pick as far as where I think this
01:26 game is going to go.
01:28 But what do you make of this matchup?
01:30 What do you make of what we've seen from, obviously, the Patriots offensive line injuries
01:34 this week?
01:35 Jon Jones gets banged up.
01:36 He's supposed to be the Tyreek Hill disappear, and he makes Tyreek Hill disappear.
01:41 He comes up on the report yesterday.
01:42 So what do you make of what's going down over the weekend?
01:45 How do you see this one playing out?
01:47 Well, the injuries doesn't look great for the Pats.
01:51 Last year, they actually had to go without Jon Jones.
01:54 They also didn't have any of their top corners.
01:56 Jack Jones wasn't playing at that point, and Marcus Jones is out with injury.
01:59 So we saw them play a lot of cover, too.
02:00 It was basically just like, "All right, we just can't get beat deep because we probably
02:03 don't have the guys."
02:04 Miles Bryant was on the outside.
02:05 He did fine, but that's not where you really want him, ideally.
02:09 So it'll be interesting to see how they end up matching up with the Dolphins, whether
02:12 they do go more zone-heavy or Tua can rip you apart with his eyes and just move defenders.
02:16 We've been talking about that all week.
02:18 Or you play man.
02:19 And it's just sometimes if Tua has time, there's nothing you can do because those guys are
02:23 so fast, and you're trying to make sure they don't beat you behind the defense.
02:27 So I think the Dolphins are going to be able to put up, I'm thinking, at least a couple
02:31 touchdowns.
02:32 I think they'll be able to move the ball pretty well, but I think the Patriots do a good job
02:36 at keeping them out of the end zone.
02:38 Offensively for the Patriots, like you said, there's a very good chance that David Andrews
02:42 is the only guy on the offensive line who's got years of experience in the system.
02:47 That's super scary.
02:49 We saw the Patriots still, though, they had the most yards after catching the league last
02:53 week with the Dolphins actually ranking second, which is pretty far ahead.
02:57 So I think, especially against this big Fangio defense, he doesn't use a lot of really physical
03:01 coverages.
03:02 It's more a lot of zones, a lot of Tua stuff.
03:05 So I think that, especially we saw Abdullah O'Brien last week use formations and things
03:08 to kind of mess with the Eagles zone coverages.
03:11 I think we're going to see a lot more of that this week.
03:13 So Mac isn't really going to have to stand in and just hold the ball for a long time.
03:17 But at the same time, this ends up being a shootout.
03:20 And then the Dolphins know, all right, they're going to pass.
03:22 Jaylin Phillips coming off the edge against Calvin Anderson.
03:24 That's a mismatch.
03:26 So I do think the Dolphins, I really hate to say it, especially on a primetime game
03:31 at Foxborough, you don't want to see two consecutive L's.
03:35 But I mean, they're in a really tough place with injuries.
03:37 So I feel like it would be irresponsible for me to guess that they're going to win this
03:40 one Patriots.
03:41 But I do think that defense is going to keep it pretty close.
03:44 And I think they have enough offense that they'll be able to put the ball in the end
03:48 zone at least a couple of times.
03:49 But yeah, this one, this one is going to be close.
03:52 You said the word shootout in there.
03:54 That's exactly what I think this is going to be.
03:56 Because I think like you said, to, you know, not only using his eyes in zone and, you know,
04:00 kind of manipulating the defense, but he has the guys when they play man into and in Tyreek,
04:06 excuse me, and Waddle to, you know, just just beat these guys deep.
04:09 So I think they're going to score points.
04:10 I also think the Patriots score points too.
04:13 It's going to sort of be a brain off if you will, between Fangio and Mac, it's Fangio,
04:19 you know, like you said to to spin that dial with the two high and you know, post snap,
04:23 you know, rolls and stuff like that.
04:24 And Mac's gonna have to figure it out.
04:26 I'm very interested.
04:27 That's one of my favorite matchups of the weekend.
04:29 I think the Patriots squeak it out in a win a shootout.
04:33 So I'm going to take Patriots plus three.
04:35 And I'm going to take over 46 and a half.
04:38 That's Pat's plus three, over 46 and a half.
04:40 And even if they do lose by, you know, a point or two, the Patriots still cover still wants
04:44 the money over a fan.
04:45 Let's go over to Buffalo.
04:49 The bills are welcoming the Raiders, Josh McDaniels, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Myers,
04:55 all of those former Patriots, the Raiders plus eight plus eight and a half at FanDuel.
05:01 If you want to take the Raiders money line, it's plus three tenant FanDuel.
05:05 The total is 47.
05:07 The bills who just lost to the New York Jets without Aaron Rodgers, they lost to Zach Wilson.
05:13 Whatever way you want to, you know, chop it up, whether it's momentum, whether it's the
05:16 fact that the Jets are good and the bills are bad, the bills lost to Zach Wilson.
05:20 Sound the alarms.
05:21 They're eight and a half point favorites on FanDuel.
05:25 I want to get your thoughts on where you think this bill's team is at, what you think these
05:28 Raiders can do in this game.
05:31 I know you're kind of taking a look at the injury reports.
05:33 I'm not sure where these where these teams are at, but, you know, from a more broad perspective
05:38 with Josh, with Jimmy and what we saw from obviously Josh Allen against New York.
05:43 What do you think of what do you think of this matter?
05:45 Yeah.
05:46 So for the Raiders, Jacoby Myers is probably going to miss a game of the concussion.
05:49 He has participated the past couple of days and we know like those Patriots guys, they
05:52 tend to try to be more conservative when it comes to those things.
05:55 But Jacoby Myers popped off last week.
05:58 So Devontae Adams had a quiet game.
06:01 He's going to be going up against Trey White.
06:02 So there's no guarantee that he's going to be able to necessarily put the team on his
06:06 back because Trey White's a very good corner.
06:08 We saw the touchdown that Garrett Wilson caught against him last week.
06:10 Like Trey was right there.
06:11 That was insane.
06:12 That was ridiculous.
06:13 Like, but you know, Trey's a great player.
06:16 Sometimes receivers just make better plays.
06:18 But yeah, I think that's going to be a tough one.
06:21 Josh Allen, man.
06:24 He's you've seen it for the past couple of years without Dayball.
06:28 We talked about this.
06:29 Like, yeah, it just isn't the same where he's making more of those Wyoming kind of plays.
06:34 We were like, oh no, Josh, Josh, we don't do that in the NFL.
06:37 You can't do that.
06:39 And you know, the poor guy needs structure and when he doesn't have it, he goes haywire.
06:44 Yeah.
06:45 But yeah, I mean, it's hard to bet on Josh at this point when that's, you know, the season
06:50 opener, you know, he has all the talent in the world, but and he acknowledged after the
06:54 game that, you know, he clearly felt that he let his team down, but that doesn't always
06:59 necessarily translate into smart decision making when you have a long history of making
07:03 ill-advised throws.
07:04 So this is a tough one.
07:06 I don't really want to root against the Bills, against the Raiders.
07:09 I'm not sure the Raiders are there yet.
07:11 I think I'm going to just go with my brain and say that the Bills are going to not, you
07:17 know, Josh Allen specifically is not going to put his team in a horrible position because
07:23 especially in front of their hometown, their hometown fans, I can't imagine them losing
07:27 to the Raiders.
07:28 I've been proven wrong as we saw last week, but this is one where I think the rate, I
07:33 think the Bills pull it out.
07:35 Yeah.
07:36 We'll get to that when we talk, when we talk Steelers later on about what, what happened
07:40 last week.
07:41 That's the beauty of betting.
07:42 It's basically 50 50.
07:43 You got to have fun.
07:44 You got to, you got to have your instincts.
07:45 Speaking of instincts with this game, I think I'm going to go Bills minus eight and a half.
07:50 I just think that after a game like they, like they played on on Monday night against
07:57 the jets, they're, they're ready to bounce back.
07:59 And when you look at sort of like betting numbers like this and trends, and you think
08:04 that you're getting outsmarted by the books, right?
08:07 Because you know, you see the Bills get spanked, but not spanked, but the Bills lose to the
08:10 jets with Zach Wilson.
08:11 And you think that they're, you know, they're themselves.
08:14 Yeah.
08:15 Right.
08:16 And you think they're, you think they're, you know, a bad team and we too, and you see
08:18 eight and a half points and it's like, Oh, I'm definitely taking the Raiders.
08:20 Well, I'm going to flip it on the books, try and win this one with the bills.
08:24 I just think they bounce back.
08:26 I like what Josh McDaniels and Jimmy G have in Vegas.
08:30 I like those two as a tandem.
08:32 I think Jimmy doesn't get enough credit.
08:34 He's out here and he wins games in the NFL when he's healthy.
08:38 But I just think in Buffalo after a loss, it's tough to bet against the bills.
08:43 So I'm going to go Buffalo.
08:44 I'm going to go over 47 too, because I think even though Jacoby's out, what the Raiders
08:48 have, um, you know, with Jacobs and with Adams and, um, a couple young, but maybe some promising
08:55 tight ends there.
08:56 I think they can maybe put up some points against Buffalo.
08:58 So I'm going to go bills minus eight and a half, and I'm going to go with the over 47.
09:03 Speaking of those jets, we're going to stay in the AFC East once more, those jets with
09:08 Zach Wilson without Aaron Rogers, unfortunately, Rogers goes down with the Achilles tendon
09:12 tear.
09:13 I was thinking about that on my run this morning on how much an Achilles tendon tear would
09:18 hurt.
09:19 It keeps popping up on my tick tock and it's like, it's nasty.
09:23 It's nasty.
09:24 Do you remember when Vince Wilford popped his in like 2013 against the Falcons?
09:27 And he said, he didn't even know like freak.
09:30 I don't understand how it happens, but, uh, the jets, no Achilles, Aaron Rogers with Zach
09:36 Wilson at the helm are plus nine and a half at Dallas.
09:41 We talked about Dallas on this show last week.
09:45 They proved me wrong.
09:46 I picked the giants.
09:47 You pick Dallas.
09:48 They're plus nine scored 40 at the giants.
09:51 Now they take on the jets again, nine and a half point favorites.
09:54 Those Cowboys at Fandul, you can get the jets three to one or 3.2 to one plus one 20 on
10:00 the money line.
10:01 The over under is a low 38 and a half because these two defenses are nasty.
10:07 That's why that number is so low.
10:08 In my opinion.
10:09 What do you make of this game?
10:10 I'll give you my pick in a second, but what just, what do you make in general about what
10:14 the Cowboys did last week, where their defense is at putting up a shuttered on the giants
10:18 mixed with no Aaron Rogers and the jets and sort of where that team's at.
10:21 I told you about this defense.
10:23 Yeah, you did.
10:24 Yeah, you did.
10:25 They're, they're very, very talented.
10:27 I don't know what happened to the giants, man.
10:30 I really don't because I didn't expect the day ball team.
10:33 We just mentioned him to get shut out necessarily.
10:36 Right.
10:37 With that having happened because Daniel Jones, you know, it's not like top half of the league
10:42 or anything, but he did enough last year to get them into playoffs and get them a playoff
10:47 win.
10:48 So yeah, I mean it's, I, yeah, I think they might have another shutout this week to be
10:54 very honest with you.
10:55 Cause I mean, Zach Wilson kind of lucked into that one.
10:58 I was looking up his stats and I was like, Oh my God, he had the highest adjusted completion
11:02 percentage, only top three.
11:03 And Brian goes, yeah, he only through screens.
11:05 I'm like, Oh damn.
11:06 Yeah, that's right.
11:07 That makes a lot more sense.
11:08 So against an aggressive defense like the Cowboys, I don't think they're going to let
11:12 that slide.
11:13 I don't think Dak Prescott, though he is also want to throw the bad interception from time
11:17 to time.
11:18 I mean, Brandon cooks, it looks like it's not going to play the, he hasn't participated
11:21 the past couple of days.
11:22 Tyler Smith has participated the past couple of days, but they still got enough artillery
11:26 that I think they'll be able to pull this one out.
11:28 So yeah, I'm going to go with the Cowboys.
11:29 I don't think it's going to be close.
11:32 Interesting.
11:33 Okay.
11:34 I think the Cowboys are going to win, but I'm going under 38 and a half.
11:37 I think it's going to be low scoring because of how good both these defenses are.
11:40 Um, but I don't know what it is.
11:43 Something about those jets this year.
11:44 I love Garrett Wilson.
11:45 I love their defense.
11:46 I don't think they're going to win, but nine and a half points is a lot.
11:49 So I'm going to take the jets plus nine and a half and I'm going to take the under 38
11:53 and a half.
11:54 I think the jets might score 10 Dallas might score 13 or 16.
11:58 Like I really think it's going to be a tight one, a low scoring game.
12:01 Um, so take the jets plus nine and a half with Zach Wilson and take the, we'll take
12:06 whatever you want, but my picks jets plus nine and a half over.
12:09 Yeah, I knew it over under is 38 and a half.
12:13 I'm going under.
12:14 We're going to head over to Baltimore versus Cincinnati where Cincinnati after a dud last
12:21 week, Joe Barrow got his haircut because of it.
12:24 The Bengals are minus three, three point favorites.
12:27 According to fan duel, the over under is 46 and a half.
12:30 Um, those Baltimore Ravens get hit again with a JK Dobbins injury, another Achilles tear.
12:36 We can't stay away from the Achilles on this show.
12:38 The guy, I think he tore his ACL a couple of years ago, played a little bit last year.
12:42 Now he goes Achilles.
12:43 It's just too bad.
12:44 He can't stay away from it.
12:45 Um, yeah, that's tough.
12:47 The Bengals also, I mean, I think yeah, Baltimore one last week, Bengals lose, um, really nothing
12:54 from T Higgins had no catches.
12:55 Jamar chase had a quiet game, I think borrow through for less than a hundred yards.
13:01 I don't know.
13:02 I think I know where I'm going with this game.
13:05 I don't really want to, um, buy too much into the fact that the Bengals offense threw up,
13:10 you know, a dud last week, but the Ravens look pretty good.
13:14 Rookies a flowers were really good.
13:16 Someone who everyone in this region, I think wanted to be a Patriots.
13:19 A flower sends up going to Baltimore.
13:21 I know struck in the heart.
13:22 Um, but what do you make about this?
13:24 Uh, this AFC North matchup between the Ravens and the Bengals think the Bengals bounce back.
13:29 Uh, Marlon Humphrey has participated the past two days.
13:32 Ronnie Staley and Tyler Linderbaum haven't participated the past couple of days.
13:36 I was also seeing on Twitter.
13:37 I didn't watch the Ravens game, but I saw that there were several times where they had
13:40 some math Patricia problems where they had receivers running into the exact same space.
13:45 So it doesn't really matter how much talent you've got to receive or if they're not, and
13:49 they have a new, they have a new OC too, right?
13:51 Cause Roman's gone.
13:52 Yeah.
13:53 Okay.
13:54 Yeah.
13:55 So, and the whole problem was that, uh, you know, Greg Roman was just had very rudimentary,
14:00 not very helpful, uh, pass game and it was all run game with him.
14:04 So yeah, it's, it's, it was already going to be a transition in a new system, but you
14:08 know, it didn't look too hot to start.
14:10 So with them missing two guys on the offensive line, he gets a really good bangles pass rush
14:14 and also one of their best corners.
14:16 I'm going to say that Joe burrow, especially if the weather holds up, which I don't even
14:19 know if it will, I know there's going to be like a fricking hurricane over here or something
14:22 like that, but as long as they don't have to play in sloppy conditions, I think the
14:26 Bengals bounce back.
14:27 Yeah, I agree.
14:28 I like the Bengals.
14:29 I think, um, look after borrow, got, got paid last week and you know, they, he was a, he
14:35 was a train wreck.
14:36 They were bad.
14:37 I think he bounces back.
14:38 He said it, uh, in his, in his press conference this week, everyone's making, making light
14:42 about his haircut.
14:43 Cause he had that, you know, that, that comb over fold over type thing down the middle
14:47 and someone asked him like, boy, you decided to cut your hair.
14:50 He goes, yeah, that's what happens when you, when you lose, you gotta, you gotta switch
14:54 it up.
14:55 And so I love Joe borrow.
14:56 I think his, his like quiet swagger is like everyone loves it.
15:01 It's not just me.
15:02 It's cool.
15:03 It's good stuff.
15:04 Um, he's going to roll with the punches and the fact that they got beat last week by,
15:08 uh, who the heck did they play last week?
15:11 The Browns.
15:12 Oh yeah.
15:13 Duh.
15:14 Yeah.
15:15 They got beat by the Browns.
15:16 We were actively rooting against.
15:17 Yeah, exactly.
15:18 Jeez.
15:19 Lose my mind.
15:20 It's too early, but yeah, I think they bounce back.
15:21 Um, so I'm going to go with the Bengals minus three.
15:23 Uh, those injuries against the rave, the Ravens have is just too much.
15:26 I don't know what the deal is with Baltimore's trying to mix it up and everything, but they,
15:29 uh, they struggle with injuries every single year.
15:32 Um, so I'm going to go Bengals minus three and I'm going to go over 46 and a half.
15:36 I think these teams score some points.
15:38 We got three more.
15:39 Let's shoot over to the NFC before we preview a couple of Monday night football matchups
15:44 because those 49ers that everybody loves are traveling to LA to SoFi to take on the Rams.
15:51 The Niners are seven point road favorites.
15:57 45 is the total.
16:00 According to FanDuel.
16:01 I loved what I saw from Matt Stafford last week.
16:04 I thought he bounced back, um, very well front.
16:07 Yeah.
16:08 The freaking boy.
16:09 We talked about him yesterday.
16:10 That dude is just a baller without Cooper cup.
16:14 Um, going with two rookie receivers and Puka Nakao at NACOA.
16:18 I don't know how to say his name.
16:19 Puka NAKOA and Tutu Atwell, not a rookie, but a young guy gets them both over a hundred
16:26 yards.
16:27 He's out there throwing no looks.
16:28 He's dropping dimes.
16:29 They looked good, but 49ers, they looked even better blowing out our, I'm saying our Pittsburgh
16:36 Steelers because I got you to buy in to Kenny pick it and go.
16:39 Uh, yeah, me either.
16:42 I don't think, but 49 or seven point favorites.
16:44 45 is the total at FanDuel.
16:47 What do you think of this NFC West matchup?
16:49 I don't want a bet against either team.
16:52 I actually know I'll bet against the Rams.
16:54 I don't want to bet against Matt Stafford.
16:57 That's the issue.
16:58 Um, but yeah, man, the Niners, they're so good.
17:01 And Brock Purdy is giving them what they need.
17:03 Like I, I wasn't anti Brock Purdy by any stretch of the imagination, but I was like, I mean,
17:08 yeah, he's got a great team around him.
17:10 It was like, I was saying he was like Bailey's happy plus where Bailey's happy was making
17:14 all the throws and like just a little bit more where you're like, okay, like he's keeping
17:18 on schedule.
17:19 Whereas Brock Purdy was like, okay, no, outside of structure, he can also make some things
17:23 happen, but the throws weren't always great.
17:25 You know, there were completions, but I was a little like, ah, I don't know.
17:29 I mean the dude balls at this point, like you have to take them seriously.
17:33 I know it's just week one, but he also did it throughout, um, late season and then unfortunately
17:38 got hurt in the playoffs and it derailed the team.
17:40 But I mean, the 49ers are so well-rounded.
17:42 I have to give this one to them.
17:44 Although I'm sure Matt Stafford is going to make it a competitive game.
17:47 That's kind of my thought.
17:48 I think it's, I think it's a Niners win, but I think it's a Rams cover seven points because
17:53 like you said, that, that Niners team is just so well-rounded.
17:56 They're so, um, the dominant in all really three phases of the game.
18:01 Even rookie kicker, Jake Moody was out there banging kicks through, like talking about
18:05 Brock Purdy and what he does in struck or in structure.
18:08 Brandon Iuk is nasty.
18:11 Um, I just, um, I'm on the Niners.
18:14 I think that team's, uh, that team's legit.
18:16 I think they can win the NFC, but I think seven points is a lot of points for a home
18:19 team.
18:20 So I'm going to go with the Rams plus seven, but I think the Niners win a total of 45 Taylor.
18:27 I think I'm going to go under because I like what the Niners do on defense.
18:31 I'm trying to think of a final score prediction, call it like a 20, 24, 20 Niners win to make
18:40 it Rams plus seven and the under.
18:43 So that's what I'm going with.
18:44 We have two Monday night football matchups this weekend, Taylor Kyle's.
18:47 The first one is the saints at the Panthers.
18:51 The Panthers are three point dogs at home.
18:54 Saints minus three.
18:55 The total is 40, a rather low number.
18:58 Um, I'm low speaking of low, I'm low on the Panthers.
19:02 I like Bryce young.
19:03 I like what he can do as a quarterback, but I just don't think they have enough around
19:06 them.
19:07 That offensive line is tough in front of him.
19:09 That makes everything speed up.
19:11 You're already a rookie and everything's already sped up.
19:13 Now the fact that you don't have any time in front of you, that makes them speed up
19:16 even more.
19:17 I just think it's a recipe for disaster for that team.
19:19 It might be a little biased cause I bet the Panthers team total under this year because
19:23 of set offensive line, but, um, the saints only scored 16 last week, low scoring game,
19:31 Derek Carr still getting his feet wet.
19:33 Um, but what do you make of this NFC self matchup on Monday night football?
19:37 It's kind of like the opposite of the last one where it's like, I don't want to bet against
19:41 Matthew Stafford.
19:42 I don't want to bet on Derek Carr.
19:43 Um, but at the same time, like the saints defense, they're only real weakness is our
19:47 pass rush.
19:48 And like you said, the Panthers also don't have a very good offensive line, right?
19:51 So it kind of negates that.
19:53 And then their secondary and their linebackers are really good.
19:55 So yeah, I think the Carolina Panthers are going to be in for a long day offensively.
20:00 Um, JC Horn didn't participate, so it's going to be interesting to see whether he plays.
20:04 He's a pretty big piece for them.
20:05 Um, yeah, I can't bet on the Panthers in this one.
20:08 I got to go say it's, I got to, I'm with you.
20:10 I think it's going to be an ugly game.
20:12 I don't think it's going to be fun to watch.
20:15 It's too bad.
20:16 It's on time.
20:17 Yeah.
20:18 Oh God, this is a, this should be a Thursday night matchup.
20:20 Yes, it should.
20:21 This should have been on last night, but no, I, I, I have something for Derek Carr.
20:26 I think sometimes he can kind of be a baller.
20:29 Like I was watching the NFL films thing and I know it's morning and it's inside football,
20:32 but it's like, we're going to go down, we're going to score.
20:35 I'm going to throw this bomb to you Rasheed Jaheed and you're going to go up and get it.
20:37 And that's exactly what it did.
20:38 I like stuff like that.
20:39 I think that's pretty cool how you can just like, you know, it's manifestation, it's dictated.
20:44 We're going to make it happen.
20:45 And I thought the Jameis Winston, like, yeah, in that clip was hilarious too.
20:48 I saw some people running with that on Twitter, but I love Jameis.
20:51 I like the saints.
20:52 At least I like the saints in this one.
20:55 Um, with, you know, Michael Thomas back and whatever else they have on offense.
20:59 I know Alvin Kamara is out, but I still think Derek Carr can gravitate them towards at least
21:05 a three point win.
21:06 So I'm going to saints minus three.
21:07 I'm going to go under 40.
21:08 Yes, Taylor.
21:09 I also just wanted to clarify real fast.
21:11 Cause I feel kind of mean saying I don't want to bet on Derek Carr.
21:14 He seems like a lovely human being.
21:16 It's just like in high pressure situations, he can get it done.
21:18 You're right.
21:19 But he also scares me.
21:20 I just want to clarify.
21:21 Cause I kind of felt like a jerk.
21:22 He's like such an awesome dude.
21:23 Awesome dude.
21:24 All right.
21:25 He is good.
21:26 Good dude.
21:27 Good dude can sometimes be, be a tough bet on the football field.
21:29 That's all.
21:30 That's what we're here for.
21:31 It's for picks for football analysis.
21:32 Derek Carr.
21:33 Great guy.
21:34 Uh, let's go to the second Monday night football matchup.
21:38 It is Browns at Steelers.
21:42 So we talked about these Browns last week.
21:44 We picked against them with Cincy and they proved us wrong.
21:48 Sean Watson gets in the end zone with a Russian touchdown.
21:50 Did his nice little guitar celebration, you know, to Sean Watson, just a nice guitar player,
21:56 uh, at the Steelers.
21:59 Kenny picket our guy, the Browns are road favorites minus two and a half the money line
22:05 minus one 30 for the Browns plus one 10 for the Steelers at fan duel.
22:09 The over under is another low one at 38 and a half.
22:13 Um, I liked what I saw from the Browns on offense.
22:17 I think Deshaun Watson is, uh, he, not that he's fully back to Houston to Sean Watson
22:21 by any means, but he's better than what he was in first year Cleveland Browns to Sean
22:26 Watson.
22:27 It was a low bar to be fair.
22:28 It was a subterranean bar.
22:29 Yes, that is true.
22:30 He, uh, you could definitely tell that he didn't play football for like 18 months.
22:34 Last season in Cleveland, but, uh, going up against the Steelers who I was high on, I
22:41 think some other people were high on after this preseason, cause they looked really good,
22:44 but they, you know, they, they lost a tough one to the 49ers.
22:48 They'll now welcome the Browns at home.
22:50 Uh, what do you make about this one?
22:53 I hope the Steelers pass rush pops off this game.
22:57 Okay.
22:58 Just cause I, just cause I love the Steelers pass rush.
23:00 That's why.
23:01 Yes, exactly.
23:02 Um, but yeah, this is, I can't bet.
23:04 I can't put on the Steelers two weeks in a row after what I saw last week.
23:07 Um, and the Browns, like we just talked about how the bangles had to play in bad weather
23:12 and didn't look great.
23:13 Well, the Browns are playing in the same weather.
23:14 And like you said, they did look pretty good.
23:16 So I feel like a smart pick here.
23:17 It's gotta be the Browns.
23:18 Yeah, I think so too.
23:19 Um, it's, I think it's, I think it's a simple one here.
23:22 Um, I'm with you.
23:23 I think the Browns on offense, on defense, they looked pretty good.
23:27 Um, they established the run.
23:28 They ran the ball pretty well.
23:30 Um, Nick Chubb got his just like he always does.
23:34 And Deshaun Watson, again, like I said, looks back.
23:36 I don't know what to make of this Steelers team.
23:38 I think they'll eventually be good down the line, but, um, even down the line this season,
23:42 but I still think, uh, it's early for them.
23:44 They're still trying to get their feet under them and trying to figure out where they're
23:47 at.
23:48 So I'm going to go Cleveland minus two and a half and I'm going to take the over 38 and
23:53 a half.
23:54 I think that's a little low being, I think both teams here can score, uh, some points.
23:57 So that is going to do it for myself for Taylor.
24:01 Kyle's make sure you follow Taylor on Twitter at T Cos 39.
