NSW budget to make more than 1100 nurse and midwife jobs permanent

The jobs of more than 1100 extra nurses and midwives employed during the height of COVID will be made permanent in next week's budget. More than half a billion dollars will fund the positions, which the government claims would have been cut under the coalition.
