New Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition 2024 Comes Limited to 99 Units with Clear Finish.
The base color is silver but there is also a foil wrapper with clear sections. Audi says ice crystals inspired the look.
The Audi RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition was launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Audi Sport GmbH. The model is limited to 99 units in Europe and no pricing is available. Based on the E-Tron GT Ice Racing Concept from March 2023.
RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition has a complex exterior design. The base color is Florett silver metallic, but there is also a foil finish with clear sections. White tones are placed over the underlying color to create a three-dimensional effect. Audi says the look should evoke ice crystals. There are also purple accents on the nose and side sills that add an extra pop of color. The car rides on 21-inch black wheels with five pairs of spokes.
The interior features diamond silver leather on the seat center panels, shoulder belts and side bolsters. There are also black elements and the contrast stitching is in purple. The steering wheel has a mix of leather and Alcantara. The floor mats feature the RS logo and Audi Exclusive badge.
The serial number of the vehicle's 99 units is displayed at the bottom right of the infotainment system. The cabin also features purple ambient lighting.
“I wanted the car to pay homage to the exciting motorsport atmosphere and spirit of past racing legends while looking to the future,” said Audi color and trim designer Christopher Kroener.
The RS E-Tron GT Ice Race Edition features the same powertrain as the standard model. There is an electric motor that provides a total of 590 horsepower or 637 horsepower to each axle in Boost mode. It can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. The battery provides a range of 232 miles.
In the United States, the 2024 E-Tron GT lineup is getting some minor updates. Power Steering Plus, LED Interior Lighting Plus and illuminated door sills are now standard. Prestige equipment includes HD Matrix LED headlights and Dinamica headliner.
