DSWD continues to grant small rice retailers of P15,000 rice subsidy

Hundreds of qualified small rice retailers from Marikina City receives P15,000 financial subsidy from the national government on Wednesday, September 13, at Brgy Concepcion Dos following the imposition of Executive Order 39, which mandates a price ceiling on rice.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. instructed the Department of Social Welfare and Development to utilize the agency's Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) to help mitigate the expected financial difficulties faced by small rice vendors due to the temporary price cap. (MB Video by Mark Balmores)
