00:41 "Man, if I'm going to pay this price, it's got to be really good pizza."

00:44 What's the average price of a good pizza?

00:46 Like 20, 25 bucks is a good pizza, but the bigger issue with a lot of these places,

00:55 like, you show up at Sally's on a Sunday, you've got to wait three hours.

00:59 So it's not so much the price. It's just getting the places.

01:05 So it's more the time. It's not how much it costs.

01:08 It's just, they're in demand. They're hard to get sometimes.

01:19 It's not even whether he's getting girls.

01:33 I haven't asked him about his personal life, but that itself just speaks to the king of New York.

01:40 The one you're like, "Dude, you want to share your friends?"

01:42 Like, "I got this person on my phone. This is pretty cool."

01:44 Huh. It's an interesting question.

01:48 Who is the biggest? I have a Charles Barkley in my phone.

01:53 Maybe he's the biggest. I guess it would depend.

02:03 I mean, obviously, him going to Twitter.

02:04 What are your thoughts on this?

02:06 I mean, you're a guy who knows about media and sees,

02:08 you project and see what's going on in the media landscape.

02:11 Are you, like, a fan of what he's doing?

02:13 Is it kind of like thinking you get the kind of wheels spinning,

02:15 like maybe I should start doing something along those lines?

02:17 You know, I think he just creates content that obviously speaks to people.

02:22 Sometimes positively, sometimes negatively.

02:24 I don't know that he's even looking at it like, "Oh, this is my business side."

02:28 I think he's just let me create content that's great.

02:32 Yeah. And people consume it.

02:33 So he's killing it.

02:34 K Marco, what's the deal here?

02:36 Where is he? I think people wonder where he is.

02:38 I love these questions. These are out of left field.

02:40 K Marco, he still is on payroll.

02:43 He is not as active as he's used to been.

02:47 He's obviously a core guy.

02:49 He made millions through the transaction.

02:51 But his day-to-day, I'm not quite sure right now.

02:53 Hey, speaking of which, you made a lot of layoffs,

02:56 but I've noticed the blog has been a lot more content.

02:59 Is that something that you wanted to make sure that there's been a lot more content?

03:02 Yeah. You know, anytime you have to do layoffs, it's just awful.

03:05 I think it's a wake-up call and give you people who become more appreciative

03:08 that they didn't get caught up in the layoffs.

03:09 So yeah, the blog has picked up for sure.

03:12 And people, I think, are trying to pull their weight and fill in for the losses.

03:15 How do you keep a girl like Brianna Chickenfight happy

03:17 and keep her at Barstool long-term?

03:19 Because from what I understand, I know I just actually talked to O'Malley.

03:23 She just signed a two-year contract.

03:25 But I guess, you know, they're stars, they're talent.

03:28 But how do you make them happy?

03:29 I guess that depends for each personality, each star, each talent.

03:37 They have to be happy.

03:39 You have to be flexible, try to make sure that they're happy waking up

03:42 because Brianna is a star.

03:43 You're never...

03:46 If talent wants to leave, there's very little you can ever do to stop that.

03:51 So we just try to be flexible and work with them.

03:54 But everybody's different.

03:55 And then also, I mean, this gets a little personal,

03:57 Alex Bennett is obviously going through something in a relationship,

03:59 but she hasn't spoken about it yet.

04:00 At what point do you kind of...

04:02 Or do you actually get involved and say,

04:03 "Hey, this could be really good for Barstool or for your content"?

04:06 Do you actually start speaking about it?

04:08 No.

04:10 Alex and a lot of people at Barstool have gone through personal issues.

04:14 We're a loony bin in some sorts.

04:16 It's like Saturday Night Live, you know?

04:17 But no, we never push for that.

04:20 She's got to feel comfortable talking about what she's comfortable with.

04:24 It's her life and no one can tell her what she should talk about

04:28 or not talk about except her.

04:29 Yeah, yeah.

04:30 US Open, you loved the US Open.

04:32 The traffic was terrible.

04:33 Arnia Sabalenka.

04:34 You said that was the best event after SNL,

04:36 the best New York City experience.

04:39 Do you still stand by that?

04:40 I do.

04:40 So New Yorkers are very New York-y.

04:43 They'll be like, "You gotta do this, you gotta do that."

04:45 The US Open is definitely on that list of the true New Yorker event.

04:50 I loved it.

04:51 I loved the tennis.

04:52 I fell in love with Arnia Sabalenka.

04:54 So I really did enjoy it.

04:56 Yeah. What are your thoughts about the Jets this year?

04:58 I don't think they're going to be nearly as good as people think.

05:02 Aaron Rodgers, who I'd consider a friend, he's my age.

05:05 The Jets stink.

05:08 They always stink.

05:09 You want to talk about a guy who's living up the New York life.

05:12 Yeah.

05:13 You see him in a crowd at Knicks, Rangers, US Open.

05:16 I don't even know if he's on the practice field.

05:18 You know, he's in the twilight of his career, of his life, you could say.

05:22 I don't see him turning it around.

05:23 By the way, that's no offense because I'm very good friends with Joe Douglas, the GM.

05:37 You got Barstool back from Penn, but you got a huge paycheck.

05:41 What was your big splurge or purchase as a gift to yourself once you got back?

05:45 I bought a racehorse, Wonder Girl Carly.

05:49 Paid 650 grand for it.

05:52 And how much is that a good investment?

05:53 Like, I don't know horses.

05:54 No, terrible.

05:55 Dumb.

05:55 Is it?

05:56 You might as well burn the money.

05:57 Like, no, it's a terrible investment.

06:00 Unless you have like oil money, you don't spend 650,000 on a horse because I'm not rich enough

06:07 to do that.

06:07 But it's like, whatever, I'm going to splurge once.

06:10 But it is not a good investment.

06:11 I would not advise that for anybody.
