00:16 talking about the most magical moment of her life.
00:46 Sharing about her diet during her pregnancy, the actress said,
01:10 "I am a doctor called Dr. Gauri and she is a Tamilian and she is from India but she lives
01:20 in London right now and she used to be an OBGYN with the NHS in the UK and she is as
01:26 Indian as she is.
01:28 Like when you meet her, you think she is like the sweetest old Indian auntie who is giving
01:32 you the best advice.
01:34 But she is a brilliant, brilliant doctor.
01:36 She was the first one to come up with water births in the UK but she was a surgeon and
01:43 she decided that we should have, like in India we prefer natural births but everywhere else
01:50 in the world they go straight away for a C-section.
01:54 So she told me that we have to eat the Indian way which is a full, like we have all these
02:00 like new things where we are doing like high protein and this and that.
02:03 She is like, "You just have to eat a balanced anti-inflammatory diet which is basically
02:08 Indian khaana, which is, you know, roti, bhaji, dal, if you want to have, if you are non-vegetarian,
02:16 then a chicken or a fish and dahi."
02:19 And I just had a balanced meal and I was walking and I was doing a little bit of exercise and
02:25 I was taking my supplements and just being simple and not going crazy on like crazy diets,
02:32 which really helped my health and I had a great pregnancy.
02:37 We saw that.
02:39 Yeah, I had a great pregnancy.
02:41 I put on a lot of weight but I had a great pregnancy because I just kept it easy and
02:47 simple and I wasn't eating sugar or like the gon ke laddoos and all of that that your moms
02:54 give you.
02:55 I was just eating normal khaana.
02:56 On the work front, Sonam was last seen in a crime thriller film Blind, directed by Shom
03:00 Makhija.
03:01 Sonam featured her in a leading role with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lilith Dubey
