00:00 And I mean, Reese will suggest things, you know,
00:02 there's, you know, it's, but she doesn't,
00:05 she doesn't need our clothes, she's good.
00:06 - How involved are Reese and Jennifer
00:08 in the wardrobe process, if at all?
00:10 - Oh, I mean, they're very involved.
00:12 They've been very involved since the beginning.
00:14 They have very strong opinions about their characters.
00:16 They know what works on their body and what doesn't.
00:19 They, you know, they are deeply connected to the script
00:22 and the material and the storylines of the show.
00:26 So when you put all of those things in combination,
00:29 they are, it seeps into everything.
00:31 They come with ideas, they come with thoughts,
00:34 they come with opinions,
00:35 and then you continue to collaborate and nuance that
00:40 as you go through the season.
00:41 And I'm also speaking for Debra McGuire,
00:43 who's Jennifer's costume designer,
00:46 but that's, I know that they bring
00:49 similar things to the table.
00:50 - Do you feel like their character style
00:52 represents their personal style at all,
00:54 or do you think that they overlap at all?
00:56 - I can't speak for Jen, but for Reese,
00:58 no, not at all.
00:59 I mean, Bradley's very, very different from who Reese is.
01:01 I mean, obviously, you know, what works on your body
01:03 works on your body,
01:04 no matter the character that you're playing.
01:06 Bradley's, you know, she's dark saturated colors.
01:11 She's really practical.
01:12 It's very straightforward, you know,
01:14 and she's elevated in season three,
01:16 but I mean, their personal styles
01:19 can't overlap with the character.
01:21 - Yes, so nobody's taking any pieces home
01:23 to put into their own closets?
01:26 - No, I mean, listen, I mean, Reese will suggest things,
01:28 but she doesn't need our clothes.
01:30 She's good.
01:31 - I'm sure she's good.
01:33 Do you both have a favorite piece from this upcoming season?
01:36 - It's so hard to choose.
01:38 I mean, you know, I keep going back to Stella's
01:41 the way they suit, which is gray.
01:43 It's beautiful.
01:44 It's a head to toe the way they look.
01:47 It's gorgeous.
01:48 - Yeah, and in terms of the suiting,
01:50 we collaborated with Lafayette 148 for Reese for Bradley,
01:54 and we have two really beautiful custom made suits
01:56 that are, you know, a wide leg 70s looking trouser suit
02:01 that I think, you know, work really, really well
02:03 for her character, her on-air character in this season.
02:06 - Yeah, definitely.
02:07 I know, Sophie, you've been working with Reese
02:08 since Legally Blonde.
02:10 I mean, how would you describe her style evolution?
02:13 - Yeah, I mean, I think, you know, as you,
02:16 I mean, Reese is very connected to fashion in general.
02:19 Like she looks at it, she thinks about it.
02:21 She may not necessarily wear all of it, you know,
02:23 because of Draper James.
02:25 I mean, she plays very close attention to the market.
02:28 So she's, you know, she's just, as all of us do,
02:31 as you move through life, just become more and more refined
02:34 and more and more aware of what works
02:36 and what doesn't work.
02:37 And then, you know, but she enjoys it
02:39 just as much as she's ever done.
02:41 She gets a, you know, a good deal of pleasure out of it.
