Sir Iain Duncan Smith has accused the government of watering down its position on China, saying it is an “absurdity” that ministers will not refer to the state as a threat.

The former Conservative Party leader said: “For some reason we seem to be intent on not upsetting China by not saying anything accusative about them at all.” Report by Buseld. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn
